We've been skirting the edges of being the first "big" side to have a proper existential crisis for decades now.

Its felt inevitable for years, like we're just buying time each time we dont get relegated. I just never thought it'd come AFTER getting our much searched for investment.

I cant stand Moshiri either hes a idiot who's easily influenced by people pretending to be his friend who want to line their own pockets.

Kenwright hand picked him to sell too purely because he's stupid enough to let him keep playing with the train set.

Moshiri might be the guy who hires and fires and buys mad players but that's not where this club has failed.

The infrastructure of the club is rotten, jobs for the boys. Failure is rewarded at this club because kenwright has filled all of the positions at the club with his mates. People don't get fired at everton they just get given a different job title.

The inability to do anything. Our commercial deals are embarrassing, our reach into other countries is laughable (we had tim Howard and Donovan at one point and we didn't even try to push for a fan base in America).

I dont think there's a single person at this club thats fit to do their job and its been like this since kenwright took over and its more so now he doesn't own the club.

For decades I’ve been telling my Australian niece how great our support is and how we Everton fans are usually like a 12th man at Goodison. I took her today for her first Everton game and she wasn’t impressed, to say the least.

The amount of likes this has is disgusting, as are the fans who did this and then filled their kecks when yerry got out of his car. Awful behaviour by a gang of man-babies

Sadly we do hinder our team.

Even the former England goalie Ben Foster said a couple of years ago that everyone loves playing against us because of the negativity of the fans.

Until today I still thought we may get out of it. Even now in normal circumstances if there was unity I'd look at that table and still think that we can be one of those teams that'll edge away from the bottom three.

But not when there's a war within the club. That's a self administered fatal error.

And I look on here tonight and some are happy that there's a civil war - and I dont understand that. They think that it'll be "cathartic" to go down. That's an attitude I'm completely alienated from.

Great post.

The only reason we stayed up last season was because the fans were like a 12th man and backed the players to the hilt.

Do people seriously believe that bankruptcy and a halving of our fanbase will somehow bring back the glory days?
