Is anyone actually saying we're a bigger club? Forest and Leeds are bigger clubs then us, who cares? We're still better then you in every way at this present time. The fact you're desperate enough to pay £7mill a year to get a manager we're not even that arsed about speaks volumes.
he should stay there and keep his word the dutch money grabber

Don't worry mate, Davey Moyes will sort you out. I have it on good authority he is being lined up to replace Koeman. If so your in safe hands and I'm sure he will serve you well.

The same thing again when are other football clubs going to learn that its not always the manager or our players with Southampton that will bring instant rewards.
Our success in recent years is more to do with how the club is set up.
When managers or players leave we identify (already have short-list for Koeman's replacement even when he was in charge) managers and players that fit within the structure that is currently in place.
We do not change the whole club set up from one manager to the next they just continue with the successful formula that is in place.
That is why for the past six seasons we have been better then our previous seasons, its not luck, its just meticulous attention to detail and continuity.
We are not a bigger club then Everton - But we are sure run as a bigger club.
That is why saints fans struggle to see how Everton (currently) are a step up

How are you run as a bigger club mate?

Honest question.

Is it because you have a DoF?

We havent got 1 cos our last manager and owner deemed it not needed, our new owner is addressing it as we speak.

What else?

Selling club.
Happy with top 10 finish and a cup semi.

Sounds right up Moyes street actually.

I'd rather we not be "backed" by the RedEcho, it's done nothing but undermine and demean the club for years. Occasionally they like to support us in the most patronizing way possible and come out with cringeworthy guff that would no doubt be greeted with delight by the mutants over the park. Take your "support" and shove it Echo, we neither want nor need it.

all evidence so far looking good with koeman?

does anyone have any doubts, i do because its efc but hopefully we get it

Moshiri is on top of it though, he's restructuring the club and introducing a director of football, which I'm guessing is why we identified Koeman as a target, because he's worked with one successfully within the premier league.

It's a Friday afternoon at work mate, quit trying to work this into something you can get excited over. Honestly, a huge amount of our fans really don't care whether he leaves or not.

Funny how on twitter and saints web everyone seems a bit bothered! Anyway no beef with Southampton a good club good fans excellent youth set up etc , just one of those things in football it happens. No loyalty we should all know that by now - Money rules we all know. No club holds onto everyone its the way it is. But after two years of Martinez - you would get excited at a manager who can organise a defence and can keep clean sheets!!

If/When Koeman leaves there will not be major changes - Recruitment/Sports Science/Academy coaches/Some first team coaches/Structure of how first team plays it all stays the same, even the academy right down to under 8's play the same formation and style as first team.

Manager has a say in transfers but ultimately is not the the main decision maker in transfers - Shane Long, Cedric and many more are not Koeman's signings they are the clubs.

The Manager is just another cog in a well oiled machine.

Mate it's Saintsweb, they're all obsessive f*ckers on there, I've been banned like 5 times just for winding them up. But no, same, nothing against Everton in the slightest, we both can't stand Liverpool so you're alright in my books. Exactly, I don't expect loyalty at all, even without your interest if Koeman didn't sign a new contract this summer on our terms he'd have gotten the sack so wouldn't expect or want any loyalty from him. This just gives us an excuse to get a more suitable manager for us in, and works out well for you by getting someone who should do a reasonable enough job for you.

Aye, but thats the plans we currently have in place.

Im sure Koeman has been told about this, so by the time the season starts, we have almost the same set up, but possibly an owner willing to spend money.
