Long time no see chaps. I am back. :bye:

As for the Saints, I actually work here so have been a 'Saints' Fan for the Everton games for the last couple of seasons. The atmosphere in the stands about as exciting as a cesspit.

Saints supporters somehow think they are a big side, i dont know under what rationale as they last won a major trophy back in the 70s i believe, thats if you dont include the Johnsons cup in 2010.

Everton on the other hand, despite being skint for, well ever...They have been stalwarths of the top flight longer than any other side and the 4th most successful side in terms of League titles.

Thats good enough for me to say Everton are giants of English football. This takeover is long over due and wil make for exciting times.

Now let me see should I drape some colours outside St Marys.......

how will you feel if you have an average season in the cups, play a more direct game (lots of hoofs to the big fella up top) albeit, sound defensively and finish a respectable 7-8th place?

given the money etc that you are about to apparently spend?

We'll probably sack him and get another manager in ! This is what we do now ! Moshy baby ain't going or 2nd best !

but surely, you are not paying him as one of the world highest paid managers, with potentially huge transfer kitty to finish 7th?
I would think that the hierarchy understands Rome wasn't built in a day and with no longer having a clown for a manger I'm sure the natural talent will rise back to its level, some of the football we had played over the last 3 seasons was ripping teams apart, if Koeman is able to prep his players not to self destruct like an Isis jihadi then I'm sure top 6 is do able.

I'd say top 5 would be the target all things considered. Well I certainly hope that's the boards target for season 1. Thereafter it should be top 4

The target every year should be to win the league and then go from there. I believe that so many games thrown away when we were n the lead early on demoralized the side. Take that element away and who knows?
