Finding cover for a Brazilian starter aint easy. From what we have, Gordon seems the natural "nuisance" fill in. As in gives the oppo sommet to think about.

Just my opinion like mate obviously favouring the player lol

He an idiot for hacking away at the lads ankles, could see it was only a matter of time before the lad went down and he received a booking anyways. His own fault really that unfortunately his foots ended up raking the lads ankle and the referee already on the prowl for a red card has give him one.

It won’t be rescinded no matter how they look at it imo. With the officials being under scrutiny right now it will stand.

Disappointing result but Southampton deserved that. We were poor today but I guess all the unbeaten chat can stop so we can focus on our game. Digne red might be a blessing - chance to see Nkounkou who's been a revelation in the cup get some game time. Him and Gordon seemed to have a good understanding so he should play up alongside him in place of Richi. Godfrey looked uncomfortable at RB. Got the ball a lot but looked lost going forward. Definitely need Kenny back in. Also Delphy looked assured for the minutes he got. All in all, a lost and bad day at the office but still top of the league. Newcastle away, not easy but we're in form and I'm confident we can get something from that.

Without doubt we miss him. He is hugely influential to the way we play. He's every opponent's nightmare in all areas of the pitch.
We can use players to 'cover' but none can replace. Hopefully he returns even sharper and misses no more games for the remainder of the season.

Very disappointing. The sending off didn’t turn things, we were poor with 11. They targeted our right but scored the first down the left. We just didn’t look dangerous enough. Hopefully Carlo has a few solutions up his sleeve.
