Damo you're chatting the most acute of wham. You have little idea, none of us do. It's ok to admit it. Honest.

Wham by it's very nature is obtuse, and therefore cannot also be acute. Sorry to have to correct you sir, you seem like a very erudite fellow, but its best to leave the guff to us experts.

Please @bizzaro do continue. Your knowledge and expertise on this issue is invaluable. GOT would be a lesser place if you should allow yourself to be derailed from spreading such wisdom.

Wonder why it changed?

Several things should be noted: (i) the early strategy involved may of the senior, largest agents in the game which required the presence of Moshiri and/or Ryazantsev to sell the future of the club, ambitions, funding, stadium, new management structure etc.
(ii)When the focus shifted to more domestic players it would have been illogical not to leverage off Bill's relationships with City for the Stones sale, and Crystal Palace for the Bolasie purchase where again good relationships exist, and (iii) Moshiri is a very good politician, he knows how to play the game and like it or not using Bill's name gains respect across the football industry. Regardless of how a significant percentage of Evertonians feel he is well respected and liked across domestic football

No one listens to @chicoazul - see the Ale House for details.

Lets keep on topic.

There is no way of us mere mortals knowing - yet this was the basis of your argument with @DownOnTheUpside. He speaks sense. You're speaking nonsense.

Its more the fact that nobody was in for us when bill came in
Afterwards:
1) any investors were looking at us as a result of bk's work
2) bk is an evertonian, hard to believe he'd put in so much time and capital to rescue and build us up to then sell us on to what he percieved as bad investors

The only real argument is whether his judgement on the second point is accurate, but its all a bit academic since nobody would be interested if not for his lazarus job on the club
