Um. From that I guess he means that by and large Rom's strokes weren't the decisive goal in the majority of victories (I.e. 1-0 only goalscorer)? Also, that when he was the sole goalscorer / decisive goalscorer in a win draw the loss of points would not have effected final league position?

All fine and good, the bald facts and stats are there. However, this omits the nature of how games ebb and flow. We may well have been winning already in some games but were we under the cosh? Did an extra goal kill off an opponent? How did his presence influence the game? Ifs buts and maybes of course. But ok, that's football?
