Did Walsh actually say we bought Tosun on his stats and watching him twice in the CL. I literally do more scouting than that when I suggest a name. I would have thought he would have watched all his games from the last 12 months at least.

...Moshiri spoke about the massive investment in players but the bottom line is that performance has gone backwards on the pitch. Too much is made of Lukaku and Barkley leaving, that is what happens in football. Walsh’s accountability is the the squad and we now have a weak and woefully unbalanced squad. I appreciate Koeman has lots to answer for but surely Walsh must have some level of culpability.

Because sadly mate, the person making decisions on hiring and firing is not competent in terms of owning a football club and the decisions that have to be made. May be a brilliant accountant - but terrible in this business.

...although he’s not empowered to sign-off or veto a transfer, perhaps Shakespeare will start having an influence. If so, let’s hope he can improve things.

Having a fire sale of players we bought in the summer now shows the complete lack of planning we have at the club... who is to say the next manager doesn't want Klaassen etc?

Figure out what type of football we want to play, get some players in who will fit that and get a manager in who will play that type of football... usually requires a few changes in manager along the way but it is how spurs/liverpool etc have clawed their way up the table in the last few years...

Walsh is useless. Allardyce doesn't need him to run targets past. He will no doubt have rejigged the scouting system when joined. Moshers is a so called accountant. Surely he can identify dead wages spent on Walsh. Director of football is a title wasted.

Could be argued that klassen isn't suited to the league. Walsh must have agreed to the transfer if his comments last night are true. Makes more a fool of him
