Not even being sarcastic when I say the players he's identified and brought to the club could of been done by pretty much everybody on here. Where are these diamonds in the rough I thought he was bringing in with all of his amazing scouting work? Where are these cheap youngsters we will be looking to develop?

Sandro apart we are paying prices at the very top end of a players value. He's just so average but then I guess he fits in with the rest of the staff.

I am quite encouraged by the fact Walsh and Sam have not been too busy this month.

They bought a striker, which we needed....and a far better wide player than anyone we already had.

I was expecting an influx of yard dogs and the lack of same, at the time of going to press, encourages me no end and might indicate that Walsh, Sam and the Merry Men might be binned in May.

We can but hope.
