Wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I think my mind is firmly made up now

In the last 18 months he has overseen the best part of £300m in signings and we are arguably worse off than when we started

Of the 18 or so first team signings, you could only probably argue that two of them (Pickford and Gueye) have been completely successful - there's a certain amount of slack you have to give based on the fact that we've made a couple of completely duff managerial appointments in that time, but that record is poor

There was the striker debacle in the summer - we knew Lukaku was leaving since February, yet managed to not sign any replacement whatsoever

Now we have the left back farce - we took the calculated gamble of going into the season with only one recognised left back (who was nearly 33), he played every game and then ended up getting a nasty injury in November, meaning the only deputy we had was our 3rd choice right back who has been horrible at left back and throws out the balance of the sided hugely. We've had since November to look for a new left back, even on loan, we've seen other sides sign or loan new left backs in the last few days and yet we've come up short. Again.

This is mismanagement of the highest order

Line up replacements now and get rid of him as soon as is practically possible

So if we bin off 2 signings after 6 months (Sandro and Klaassen) and in all honesty we could probably get rid of a couple more, how can this guy possibly keep his job?

I ask myself on a daily basis why the Russian that Moshiri employed hasn't yet deployed the polonium into Steve and Sams drinks bottles.

If I don't see some bulging eyes and skin falling off soon then the Russian needs to be sent on his way.
He used it all in our negotiations over Silva with Watford.

I was definitely in the it can't be all his fault camp .the summer recruitment has probably set us back years and a mismanagement from the very top down .if we cannot scout or buy a left back since the summer we might as well give up . Moshiri if he is serious about the football side has to get the scouting and buying of players right if that means getting rid of the main culprits and starting a fresh then so be it

Absolutely.

I cannot even credit him for Pickford the lad did well for Sunderland given the circumstances and has been England keeper throughout the youth-u21 levels.

When clubs are relegated it is common knowledge to look at players they need to sell.

If he was plucking gems like Mahrez every window then great but finding these players who are literally being offered either due to relegation/financial burden or poor /unwanted/surplus to requirements from top 6 sides is not scouting and certainly not enough to warrant the cash he’s pocketing and being trusted to spend
