Good question to be fair, something I'd never really thought of either.

Much to our surprise he has shown he can score and make a contribution in the higher echelons of the league.

He also has a good work ethic, can win balls and battles. However, he's not the most skilful or gracious player.

I would want about £8m for him, yet deep down I still feel other clubs and non-Evertonians would value him much less.

Sometimes it's hard to remove a stigma and he's certainly got one of those. I'm saying £5m.

We got 6m for Anichebe who is a lot less clinical than Naismith and has a poor injury record - he's injured again at the moment. We sold Jelavic for a similar price despite him only scoring two league goals in the previous 12 months.

Sunderland were willing to pay 14m for Borini who, despite playing more frequently, scored the same number of goals as Naisy last season.

So I'd guess we'd get far more than 8-10m for him if we wanted to sell.

Yeah, he's Mr Versatile: in behind the striker and...erm...in behind the striker.

My point is that you come up with something utterly ridiculous just about every week to have a go at the lad. He has turned into a fantastic player for us and you don't like it, loving your pain. Oh just for the record, he can play as a striker or attacking midfielder........but you already knew that.

No. We were given an offer to good to refuse for him when he was badly out of form. Nice bloke but once his rhythm and feel for the game goes, he's absolutely useless as a footballer.
