Or we keep him and also buy Yarmo and boost the squad.
Deulofeu, Mirallas, Lennon, Pienaar, Barkley, Kone, Lukaku + Yarmolenko, that's enough players to have in a squad, isn't it? A real backup striker would be a great thing to have for sure, but Naisy really in my opinion is not a striker to replace Lukaku in our system.

we need to sell him to fund our jan transfer window, hopefully someone like newcastle, sunderland, norwich, villa will go mental and bid 10 mill for him
Anywhere near that much he should be packed off soon as possible. As decent as he is at nicking goals and being snidey the football just breaks down too much when he plays.

Why did we waste our time with him so much early in the season?

He is an impact sub, nothing more or less. An alright player to bring off the bench.

We should have took the £8m.

He's one of the players that haven't been used much so will be fresh when needed. It's not a bad situation at all. He's still a useful player to have in the squad. I don't understand this need to sell players.

It's not always a need to sell mate. It's the player wanting to play.

Not good enough to start but he's proven time and time again that he's a handy player to have around. I'm sure he'll pop up with a couple more important goals this season.

We've got to stop holding onto these type of players for too long, Hes no more than a squad player at best, approaching 30 and will be a high wage, his value will only start to drop soon, foolish to have not of took the 8 mil.

True, if he asked for a transfer then you'd have to let him go. If Scotland had qualified for the euros I'm sure he'd be looking for a move.

I know what you're saying, and at the moment he has no chance of getting in the team. Over the course of the season though injuries, fitness, form will come into play so we should be keeping the likes of Naismith IMO
