No longer able to feed off his hat-trick, it was only a matter of time before his latest PR stunt came to fruit.
I hope you're "trying" to be funny, cos that's a dick-ish thing to say - I bet you wouldn't say it to his face.

Seems like he might be moving on and I wish him nothing but the best. Top bloke, good honest professional, has made the most of his (limited) abilities and deserves the chance to try to establish himself as a regular elsewhere.

Not sure we'd still get £8m for him, but will be interesting to see if Roberto has a replacement squad player in his sights come January...

Not that different to Deulofeu (75%) , Lukaku (75%), Lennon (77%) and Mirallas (81%)

Agree passing isn't his strength, especially when out on the wing which is not his preferred positiom, but believe he gets some unfair criticism for it.

Guess that you can qualify those stats though LL, Most lone forwards passing rates are lower than midfielders i believe as a rule, Deulofeu tries a lot of high risk passes etc, be interesting how it compares to players who basically play that same spot which would be Kev and Kone.

Think just overall technically though he is a mile behind the level that Martinez strives for from his midfield/forwards, compare for example Cleverleys control and touch over Naismiths and the difference in our tempo as a team when it gets to that player, one speeds it up the other slows it down.

No fault on the lad, plays to the best of his ability every time he is called upon, he just isn't that talented, 8m or more from Norwich we should snap their hands off really

Looking on Norwich forums in the build up to the game mate, their fans are almost to a man positive about and reckon it would be a very good signing for them, so with a manager and players and fans all behind any transfer it should be a deal that could be made. For my thoughts i think strangely would be a transfer that saw both sides benefit from it, we get good money for a fringe player who doesn't suit our system or style and they get a player whose best qualities will make him vital in a relegation scrap for them and who has a knack of scoring some important goals that could keep them in this division

Anyone else surprised he wasnt thrown on today? I expected to see him on for kone near the end...

With norwich interested in him thought he may be given a go to play for a move..

Could be a deal done for him or in the pipeline to norwich?

Same to be honest, but Kone is such a hit and miss type of player.

I think Naisy and Mirallas are being more the most part permabenched so they don't get injured before the transfer window.

You're absolutely right, a misplaced Naismith pass gets highlighted on here a hell of a lot more than misplaced passes from the ones mentioned above.

As for all this 'PR stunt' nonsense regarding his charity work, well, it is a PR stunt in a way, for the benefit of the charity he is supporting.

In this day and age people on Facebook etc want the world to know when they follow through on a fart. So the idea that a PL footballer paying for, and serving Xmas dinners to homeless people should be kept hush hush is lol lol lol

If Naismith moves on then I wish him all the best
