Agreed....

Naismith is an odd one...why do you think he wasnt sold in summer?

Im stuck between

--no time for a replacement
--felt he would give him a chance
--no backup for lukaku
--knows who he would use the money for but couldnt afford him so kept naismith around till jan when he would have the funds for the player he wants
--selling him dependant on Yarmolenko coming

Psst, wake up mate, this ain't no more wonderland.

YEEEEESSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Early Xmas gift for us :)

Any word on McGeady/Mirallas as well or any other outgoings?

Edit : And so it begins, Martinez now taking the next step in the rebuilding process and shifting players out....phenomenal :)

Hes gone already .

7.5 m up front from Norwich.

Right...and? Totally lost me here, i posted about having money for Yarmolenko in the summer and signing Lennon instead so there should be funds available there.

I didn't question that, but he's extended his contract since then, so we missed our only chance to sign him for a realistic price, which puts us out of contention imho.

Brilliant news that he's staying and fighting for his place.

Criminally treated by Martinez. Scores a hat trick, then has one bad game and never gets picked.

Deserves better treatment; should be playing instead of Kone.

Great player/option to have in the squad.

actually think he will thrive in norwich. he suits well there. i wish him well.

I agree he would do well there

Kone offers much more of a link up with other players and controls the ball better.

Naismith is a poacher but his general play is absolutely woeful. To say he is criminally treated is nonsense. If all that was needed in attack was goals then we could just play 10 strikers. Unfortunately for Naismith, Kone is better at linking with Romelu and holding the ball up.

I'm not saying we don't need an improvement on Kone, cause we do, but Naismith is not suited to LW at all.

One good game in 10 is poor, simple as that. Osman has a good game occasionally, get him in ahead of Barkley or Barry.

He's worth having as an option from the bench. Osman is finished, get rid of him.
