So what??? Your [Poor language removed] at understanding the mechanisms of football.
You see I can accept the excuses if the manager put out the best side to win the game, but he didn't pick a right back, and I feel sorry for Hibbert cos he was excellent against Fulham.
We should have lost this game cos the defence was all at sea for most of the game. Just poor finishing and some luck has got us through.
Fcuk off Kenwright.
Who would have you have played Einstein???
Did I not imply such in my post? Think I probably did.
Ever met Purple Aki?
What does that mean mate? How about you answer my question or cant you? Thought so. Just happy to moan.
Well lets think about this.
1. Liverpool are laughing because we can't catch them, and how good would it have been to put them out of Europe?
2. We can't get into Europe and certain players may now see their future elsewhere.
Enough of a reason to show concern?
I know you. Don't mock me in my house.
Be honest after the abysmal start to this campaign it's a miracle we recovered and managed 8th - in mid november we were being touted as relegation candidates!!!
And it is at the moment. It's a major disappointment. We have had chances recently to really get involved in Europe, but look at this:
2 up on Brum and draw
Draw with Wolves, West Ham, Stoke, Last minute goal to Villa, Only just beating Fulham, oh and amongst that bizarrely we beat City 2-0 away - so how come we can beat City but drop 10 points to lesser sides?
The point is we have chances to take that step, but we have missed them, and it's a thin line between success and failure.
It's simple really, if we want success, we need to be successful.
Still waiting.
Theres also a thin line between reality and delusion, just look at the red [Poor language removed].
While im as dissapointed as you about missed opportunitys, if you looked at every team in the league we could point out games they should have won, goals they conceded in the last few minutes, 2-0 leads thrown away and so on. We have also scored plenty of late goals to get points we maybe didnt deserve either. I think we have scored more goals than any other team in the last 10 minutes of games this season.
While dissapointment is natural after a game like today, reality has to kick in and realise thats football for you, it dishes out more lows than highs, thats why we enjoy the good days so much.
Im optimistic about next season, keep the faith.
Yes but we have had the chances mate. There can be no more excuses. We have thrown away too many points recently against [Poor language removed], and with a fairly decent side.
Whatever happened at the start of the season for me is now irrelevant because we should be in Europe. We were 2 up on Brum, 30 seconds away from beating Villa, we have drew silly games, like today, and against West Ham and Wolves, so I would agree if we we were winning games and just missing out, but we have been drawing them and that is where the problem lies.
At the start of the season people were giving excuses cos of our injury situation, but other than Fellaini we have had a fairly strong side recently, and still not winning the games we should be - so what are the excuses now?
What about Blackburn and Fulham late winners? What about late rescued points? What about beating West Ham at their gaff despite them ****ting us? You gonna answer my question?
