Should be ok without Pienaar. I predict Stoke to try and boss us in the air and Victor surprising them by outstrengthing their whole team.

I'm guessing Saha and Anichebe will come in provide some height and aerial ability. I'd play Rodwell and push Neville back to right back, we need as much height in the team as possible. We'll dominate the midfield, that shouldn't be a problem, we've got to watch out for those throws and set pieces though.

I know, because their approach works, what other fans need to be focused on why their club has failed to combat it. It's not as if they weren't expecting it.

Every time Stoke score from a cross or long ball they get abuse in the media whereas I've seen so many clubs adopting the long throw. Shame for them really but they should stick to what they do as it works, good luck to them like.

Just like Cahill and his headers.

The other club know it's coming, they just can't seem to do anything about it.

Pienaar's out supposedly, did his ankle in training.

Not good. He would have made the difference in what will most likely be a war of attrition.

Back four will be the same as last week.
Nev, Arteta and tim in the middle.
Saha up top.
Any 2 from billy, victor, osman? and rodwell? for the 2 wide spots.

Morning GOT ers,

Safe trip for those coming today. I'm sure it's going to be a good atmosphere and let's hope for an entertaining game. If you're coming by car my recommendation would be to park at Knights BMW by ground and have a drink in PowerLeague (y)

Just leaving London to go to the game - 1st game in ages, worst ever season for attending games this season sadly!

MUst win game for us, a nothing game for Stoke, will be a tuff match but i think we will win 2-0

Some disquiet in their dressing room.. but also maybe with a point to prove after last weeks mauling.

Think it will be a tight n testy affair. I'm hoping for a 1-0 win.. hoping!

I do think Vic will be pivotal in this game. We need his strength to bully them.

Worried about Pienaar being out, Bily will have to play, and I really dont think this game will suit him.

Unless Moyes plays Rodwell out wide...

Anyway, 2-1 us

*sigh* i am stuck in Univesrity doing a long-ass project.
will follow the match now and then, but i doubt i will watch it.
I am depressed :(
