John Stones = £47m, with a future sell on fee
Bolasie & Williams = £37m (As of now, could be more) very little sell-on value.
Not hard to figure, is it?
Will he get a future sell on fee though? £47m is a lot of dough to make a profit on for a defender.John Stones = £47m, with a future sell on fee

This. The Stoke game was a case in point. If we'd had Stones in instead of Williams we'd have dropped points defo.we have been crying out for a player like Williams for years, real leadership, for us at this moment would sooner have him than Stones, saying that Stones will go on to be a really good player in the future, but right now for us and himself it was better he moved on.
You had to, didn't you? You just had to.Think it was really more like 9.5m for Williams and 25m for bolasie, so discounting Gueye seems harsh.
Fact is stones will be better than any of them will ever be but they are right for us now and they want to be here. Williams is exactly what we needed at the back, Gueye has been our best player so far and Bolasie gives us something extra on the wing.
Good business all in all, but it would have looked better if we'd have backed it up with some other business....
Sorry. Mis-interpreted that as future sell on profit. Of course you would get a future sell on fee, but would do well to make a profit I think.John Stones = £47m, with a future sell on fee

Quicker success. More like less risk.I think it was clear that they wanted somebody who knew the league and had already managed in the league for quicker success.
I seem to be in the increasing minority here but I firmly believe Stones will be one of the best defenders this country has ever produced
In the long run we would have been better off keeping him
Under a manager who values defenders who are great at the art of defending though, I think we'll be better off in the short term with Williams and Bolasie than we would have been with just Stones this season.
Be prepared to watch Stones look like Beckenbauer this season though

I edited my comment. I'm now 100% behind Koeman.Which is hardly surprising given the previous manager's endeavours.
