Just don't know how you can possibly write the season off. Clean slate for everyone. The guys in charge know we need signings and know we need to balance the squad. Let them do it. Quit whinging, it's all you seem to do.

I`m not saying it will happen, but sometimes a new manager is able to get a tune out of players who had previously been written off.

Maybe just maybe, the first week back, has been all about looking to see who they think is worth keeping and who is getting punted.

Next week and the weeks after, will be about addressing the areas that need strengthening, plus punting those that can be punted.

The thing I find really frustrating is the power players have which makes all this nonsense so much harder and drawn out.

I couldn't cope being the manager.

I'd have already pulled mirallas Williams etc to one side and told them using much industrial language to sling their hooks and fInd another team.

Reality is they can laugh in your face and go nah I like the wages your paying me.
