Not really conspiracy though is it? How many times has Brands told you that he's here to trim this squad?

But you said the World Cup was distracting the fans from this and it was a god send for the club.

However you are now telling us Brands has been very open about it so hardly been hiding the fact have they?

Make your mind up mate.

Mulling over Zaha. He's turned down 125k a week, and they want 70k.
Even by obscene footballing standards of monopoly money, is he worth even a quarter of that? Not even at the world cup ffs.

Not at the world cup, how is that relevant. Either is Bale and you would have him in a flash.

to Palace he is worth every penny of that reported 70m. I'm pretty sure they didn't win a game without him last season. Without him they aren't just in danger of going down i think they're pretty much certain to go down so his asking price reflects his worth to them. Whether anyone else values him at that is to be seen but i can promise you it won't be us testing their resolve.

It'd be a pure Steve Walsh move to go after him, just like Siggy. Can't see Brands going for him, when Lozano and similar would available for less than half the price.

i agree. He's a top class player and would be a proper statement signing but that could go toward 2-3 players who could drastically reshape the team rather than 1 player who may improve us in one position.

Not sure if we even won a game without Rooney but he's still crap
