Summer 2018 Transfer Window

So far the summer has been nice. No stressing over rumours from the papers, we haven't signed anyone but got the new manager to look forward to. If/when we do make signings then it will be nice news to get. At least with Rooney gone I know Silva isn't shackled by having to find a role for him and gives him that little bit extra freedom with the current team before improvements.

I find ya attitude of if we make signings and you being happy about the facts it’s a it truly worrying

that fredericks on a free

fabianski and diop for a combined 30 mill

yarmolenko close and hes costing roughly 20

Anderson close and hes costing 40mill

and a bid rejected for that lascelles feller for 20 odd mill
it is the dildo owners so wouldn't be surprised to see some of these fall through, but interesting if not and no messing around
They have already said they are open to offers for Kouyate and Michael Antonio. they want at least 30m back for those two. If Yarmolenko comes in i'm pretty sure they'll sell Arnautovic for as much as they can get. They'll have a fairly standed net spend come the end of the window. Like you said the Brothers Dildo are renowned for phantom bids and low balling it so there is every chance some of these won't come off but they are being pro-active rather than reactive and that's to be admired. That said signing a load of new players for big money doesn't mean instant success... we know that better than most after last summer

I am in the same boat. I seem to be relatively unbothered about the whole Everton thing at the moment. I hope to be pleasantly surprised by a few incomings and outgoings over the next few weeks. Do I dare dream of us playing decent football as well?

Will we be jealous when they call in Big Sam to sort them out in November? Has he ever been re-hired by anyone he has been given the boot from? (I hope this doesn't come back to bite me in my rear in some sort of karmic punishment)
is Karmic Croatian or Serbian?

People being clearly jealous of West Ham makes me laugh. A lot.

I think your jumping to conclusions with people being "jealous" of west ham, but they have signed a couple of players already who would have been good signings for us ( wilshere and diop )

I mean, any team below us who goes and strengthens a lot is something to be worried about is it not?

it's the same as city signing no one and united below them going out and singing 5 first team players

Its West Ham though, something will go very wrong.

Tell me about Diop. Seen any of him ever?

And a team signing Wilshire is funny to me. I’m absolutely chuffed we were never interested.

And not saying you are but the way some people are reacting is clearly jealousy.

Exactly, its this arrogance by our fans that we will coast to 7th/8th regardless of transfer business that will come back to bite us on the backside guaranteed.

West Ham have a very good manager and have made 2-3 good signings

Leicester have strengthened their weak back line and wont be much worse than what they were last season.

Saints have an actual PL manager now (who whilst seems to go off the boil always has a decent 2-3 seasons first) and again wont be as bad as last year.

Wolves are potential dark horses and have a good style and system of how they play.

And thats just below us, the top 6 (who everyone wants us to try bridge the gap with) will only continue to push away from us if we dont strengthen adequately.
