I don’t think anyone expects us to be competing with City after one window on the back of the mess last year. 3 signings in my eyes improves the 11 to the point where we might challenge the lower end of the top 6, that would be decent progress given the mess of last year.

If we are interested in any of the Sporting players who terminated their contracts it'd be best to see what happens to Wolves and Rui Patricio, Sporting have filed to FIFA and want 48m compensation from them..

I'm not sure I understand the love for the business West Ham has done. Is Wilshere really an upgrade over what they had in Lanzini/Mario? Is Yarmolenko really an upgrade over Arnautovic when they sell him to Man U? Diop might be an upgrade over Collins, but Reid is still hurt isn't he?

They almost HAD to buy players to maintain the team they had last year, that wasn't very good I might add.

I know this sounds crazy and may only be applicable while this maniac is their president but I'd rather we compensated them with a fee no matter what.

One player or two players free from this squad isn't worth possibly ruining a relationship with a club that consistently produces good talent.

Diop I havent seen, but we need a CB.
Most agree that Wilshire is talented, we need a CM
Jargenmenko is also a talented boy, we certainly need a player of his ilk

I mean I know its cool to laugh at West Ham, but personally I think they have picked up 3 decent players.
