Summer 2018 Transfer Window

I'm not sure I understand the love for the business West Ham has done. Is Wilshere really an upgrade over what they had in Lanzini/Mario? Is Yarmolenko really an upgrade over Arnautovic when they sell him to Man U? Diop might be an upgrade over Collins, but Reid is still hurt isn't he?

They almost HAD to buy players to maintain the team they had last year, that wasn't very good I might add.

West Ham’s business is very average, I think the comparison’s are based upon our procived lack of inactivity however inaccurate that perception is.

What I get from the comment about people being unhappy is the transfer is implied to be either a player going out on loan who we would prefer to sell(like Bolasie), or signing a player like Carvahlo who fans on here dont rate.

..we’ve been linked before and he was supposed to be moving to Southampton in January. I’m sure it’s jarg. @bluestevon is our Russian correspondent.

He's been getting hawked around for a few years in the media mate, he's just a fast lad with a bit if skill whose erratic, and never really kicked on from the hype around him at 20-21.

Doubt we have any interest at all in him and it's just his agents getting his name there again.

Serious question here, when was the last time we saw or even heard Brands?

It was May wasnt it?

Where has the fella gone.

Last seen locker shopping with Niasse.
Apparently some holes have already been made in the toilets and they are looking for a specific size.

Just what I’ve deduced from the many threads in this forum and not factual.

That should always be the aim. Aiming for 7th is an utter embarrassment.

Nothing will be the same again, except it will and probably go worse.
mate. We are where we are due to the transfer fiasco of the last 2 seasons. 7th best is the best we can do along with catching up a bit with the top 6 coupled with playing well against them now and again. Hopefully a shout at one of the cups. But it's going to take time before we're seriously competing regularly for a top 4 position.

Now you can accept that, get behind the team and hopefully enjoy the season to come. Or you don't, that's your call. But if you choose the latter you're gong to be a bitter and angry man for few years yet mate.

By the way. I don't think there's a fan on this forum who disagrees with you or what you stand for. We all want the same. But after the disgrace of the last 2 seasons we know that it's not going to be possible in the short term and realise that it just isn't worth beating ourselves up over.

It’s hard keeping a straight face mate while reading that after the £200m plus we’ve spent on transfer gashness, £45m on Sigurdsson, £27m on Bolasie, £28m on Keane, £25m on Klassen, etc.
