Or maybe Silva can improve Tom to his debut season form in which case he’s good enough to start?
He’s young, he’s going to be inconsistent. That’s why we shouldn’t be reliant on him. Unless Silva thinks Klassen is ready to step up then we should be bringing in an upgrade.

I think we will sign Mina. As for anyone else I don’t have a clue, but we will sign what we need, Silva and Brands are no mugs.

Some of you need to either calm down or go and support West Ham because you’re doing a lot of sensible peoples heads in.

...Yerry Mina’s agent is quoted in Mundo Deportivo;

‘It’s not true Yerry has signed for Everton. Yerry has many teams who hold an interest in him but before we can think about that we need to know what Barcelona plan to do. When we hear from the club we will make a decision’.
Seems like they’re waiting for Barca to announce the Lenglet signing before making a decision.

Not sold completely on Mina.

Been unbelievable at the World Cup but watched him in his few rare appearances for Barca and he was pretty poor. Had one good game - think it was Villarreal away - but bar that, not sold on him based on his Barca appearances.

Yarmolenko going to West Ham is genuinely annoying, especially combined with us doing absolutely nothing.

But would their signings improve us?

Diop I havent seen, but we need a CB.
Most agree that Wilshire is talented, we need a CM
Jargenmenko is also a talented boy, we certainly need a player of his ilk

I mean I know its cool to laugh at West Ham, but personally I think they have picked up 3 decent players.

I mean they are still crap, but still.

Personally not hat arsed by West Ham’s signings. It’s not that hard to see them all failing badly.

I'm not sure I understand the love for the business West Ham has done. Is Wilshere really an upgrade over what they had in Lanzini/Mario? Is Yarmolenko really an upgrade over Arnautovic when they sell him to Man U? Diop might be an upgrade over Collins, but Reid is still hurt isn't he?

They almost HAD to buy players to maintain the team they had last year, that wasn't very good I might add.

Wiltshire and Yarmolenko would walk into our team.
Never been Wilshire’s biggest fan but we have missed a link player like him.
Most people were made up when we were linked with Yarmolenko.

If we would have signed both most would say great business but cos it’s WestHam we look down on them, it will be the same with Liverpool and Shaqiri.
We may well end up doing better business in the end, but I would have taken both of them over some of the players we currently have.

The thing with Yarmolenko we wanted him what, 4 years ago?!

And now he’s at West Ham. Doesn’t smell right to me.

Even if they work out, I still think they need to be viewed in light of the total team. They've lost some folks and seems like Lazini is out for a majority of the year. Does anyone think Wilshere is an upgrade over Lanzini or even Mario, who I thought was playing really well by the end of the year for them?
