Why do all midfielders have to have good goalscoring records?

Because we no longer have Lukaku. Rooney was top scorer last season from midfield. Our strikers show no signs of being 20 goal a season men, so others need to chip in.

We need to look in Ligue 1, there is a lot of key players that we can bought for low price.

Malcom from Bordeaux, Mariano or Ndombele from Lyon (way better than Doucoure), Luiz Gustavo from Marseille, Rony Lopes from Monaco...

He's gone to PSG & Barca so obviously got some pedigree. I'd imagine he slots in very quickly and we may move Baines on this summer too. I also do think we'd have to go as high as 21 million.

He came in Paris because Maxwell was getting old and we needed a younger to take his place. The same situation that we got today with Baines.

Anyway, Digne never took the place and i dont even remember him doing ONE good game at least. What a surprise it was for us when we saw that Barca wanted him.

Everton target Yerry Mina has broken his silence on his future after reports he is set to quit Barcelona.

He is not that good technically but he is really agressive and never give up. I wouldnt take him as a key player but definitely as a good supersub!

With Baines I just dont see where he goes myself, I know there was talk of a move to the US, but I dont see Baines in Murica at all.

Think he will be staying myself.

I think America mate. The links have gone and re-emerged again a couple of times. I really like Baines and would like him to stay but would understand if they feel what 70k a week is too much for a lad who's second choice.

I also think if your Baines the option to go to America may not be there in a year. It's a wonderful place to go and spend a couple of years in your 30's, especially if you have a wad of cash. He's a homebody, but cultural it's much closer than Europe.

He is not an awful player but he is limited so i would take Tierney instead a thousand times. Even Bertrand or Ricardo Rodriguez.

Arteta was a brilliant player for us, moved around a bit when he was younger but felt the love here, just wish we could have won something with him. A class act.

Who else do you think PSG will ship out this year? In addition to Pastore. Is Ben Arfa still there?
