The papers haven't got a clue who we are after. Any noise will be coming from agents, selling clubs and pure speculation.
Until we sign somebody I'm just going to assume nobody knows anything.
Alphonso Davies from Vancouver is my speculation - found out PSV are really interested - so I'm going to assume we are too.
I’m not sure if it’s worthy but I’ll leave it to higher powers to decide @orly

....Monday 16th July and here’s this morning’s Toffee Transfer rumour round-up;

- According to The Liverpool Echo, Everton will make signings in this transfer window. They quote Manager, Marco Silva: ‘We have our targets and have already decided the positions we want to improve in our squad’.

- The Daily Mirror report the agent of Lucas Digne saying his client is not thinking of leaving Barcelona. The 24 year old Left Back is said to be on Everton’s radar.

- Libero in Peru say Fulham are launching a bid for Benfica winger, Andre Carrillo. Fulham are willing to double the 27 year old’s salary to £65k per week amid interest from Everton.

- Argentine broadcaster AyC Sport claim Everton have enquired about Boca Juniors defensive midfielder, Wilmar Barrios. The 24 year old Columbian international has an €18m release clause but his club President says he will only agree a deal if the player remains until December.

- 4th Official suggest Everton are one of 6 candidates eyeing SSC Lazio’s 23 year old Belgian Left Back, Jordan Lukaku.

- Catalan outlet, Sport, report Leicester and West Ham have joined Everton in pursuit of Barcelona’s 23 year old Centre Back, Yerry Mina.

- Villareal’s local newspaper, Periodico Mediterraneo, say striker Denis Cheryshev is on Everton’s agenda. The 27 year old Russian international is available for €20m.

- The Daily Star suggest Everton are considering a move for Genoa’s left sided attacker, Diego Laxalt. The Uruguayan World Cup star could be available for £18m.

- Mundo Deportivo link Everton with Espanyol’s 28 year old defender, David Lopez.

Same names over and over and over and over again

Another day, another left back is linked.

It’s almost as if we’re trying to make out that we have other options in that area to avoid paying a Kings ransom for our top target.
That’s too clever a tactic for Walsh , he just pays what’s asked

Oh hang on there’s a new lad in town who has done this job before

Some reasonable transfer fees in there.

But we paid a sizeable chunk of cash that some people questioned to get him from a relegated club.
We may struggle to get as good a replacement, no matter how much we'd be prepared to invest.

On the other hand, we may also replace him with someone equally as good.

As it stands now, if a sizeable club comes in with a big enough bid and he wants to go, he’s gone.

Esk beating the skint drum.

Says we need patience.... Patience with Brands and Silva 100%, Patience with Moshiri and Kenwright not a chance.
