Would save all of the bed-wetting and anticipation levels would reach fever pitch. Would basically be less frustrating and more interesting.

Can’t see him shifting the kids that have played in the last two games myself. They’ve shown enough.

We don’t want to repeat mistakes last season where we were left without a left back say.

But it’s not that easy. Apart from Lookman, who isn’t going anywhere, no clubs actually want any of those players and they’re under contract for another 2-4 years.

another 4 could potentially go from there, Bolaise, as much as we want him gone was pretty much a dead cert for starting under both Koeman and Allardyce.

So, Bolaise, Stek, Sandro, Mirallas,Klassen, Besic, all up for permanant transfers or loans for the latter 3 in my opinion, i can't believe Garbutt is still stealing a wage loaned out every year for aba 4 years.

Of course clubs will want those players. the kids will all be off to the championship as they were last season.

Klaassen, Mirallas and Bolasie will get deals somewhere, Williams and Martina the same. there are lots of clubs out there in a worst position and with worst players than us, let's not doom ourselves into never ending self pity and misery!

But we know we are trying and pursuing for a left back, so don't think that is of major concern. New left back and Baines for this season.

The 38,39 players squad...it was exaggerating. Took away the 6 players who left the team in perm or temp...and there is no point to court a couple of kids as first teamer because they spent a season in the Championship or League 1...such as Browning, Galloway, Connolly and Pennington etc.

There’s also a huge difference between saying you need to cull the squad for the sake of numbers and in reality culling the squad because you need those funds to actually invest in new, better players.

If the plan is to sit around whilst bids come in for players we all deem garbage then I think we need a new plan. Signing new players in this era of the PL and under this ownership should not seemingly be totally dependent on outgoings first. There should be money their available. Sign your targets and make it clear to those left in the squad that you don’t want that their replacements are here and they simply won’t get any game time. Of course when you’ve put some of these players on bumper contracts it’s not going to be easy at all. But there is absolutely no way we should be delaying making signings... unless of course it’s a financial imperative for us to do so. In which case the damage done last year is even worse than we all thought.

What are you basing this on? So far only a Turkish club has shown interest in Bolasie (on loan). We couldn’t give Mirallas away for £4m to the Greek league, Martina wasn’t wanted by anyone last year despite being a free agent for 2 months, there’s been no concrete interest in Klaassen and not even a rumour linking Williams with a move. At least 3 of the 4 will be at the club after the window closes.
