Given that the GK, right hand side and left hand side are sorted, we’re now not too far off:

The two CB positions, the three CM positions and the CF position.

They’ll no doubt be the priority for the next couple of windows.
 

With this reported Delgado signing, what is worrying me most is our lack of pace down the middle. Tosun, gylfi, delgado, schneiderat, dowell all have below average pace. Even Davies has average pace at best. The CBs I dont even need to mention because we all know. All preseason we have been picked apart by counter attacks through the middle. We desperately need Loftus-cheek. We should pay whatever price they want to get him.

Because they blame him for the fact that we don't score goals...forgettting the fact Messi coudnt score in this team..Cenk isnt Messi but unless you create chances for him he can't score..simples

I feel like they are going to try and take Pickford if move for any of their players

Pace helps...but not being a lazy arsed fraud helps much more...peter reid didnt have pace..nor Bracewell..nor Parkinson...nor kante nor dozens of other defensive midfielders around at the moment but what they all posses is a desire and a hunger to win...i currently don't see that in the middle of our midfield
 

Wish we were getting linked to DM's, none of the reliable journo's have linked us to one yet. Just as important as replacing the centre halves for me.

Because he is too slow, cannot hold the ball up, not so good at passing it, poor positional sense, and doesn't score prolifically. Normal Everton forward (bar Lukaku in some respects) over the last 25 years.

Make sense to give a lad who has four years on a deal a new one, on the back of a couple good games, the sort of thinking that has us in this mess.

England's player of the tournament, what an amazing feat, so hard to pick just one.
