What worries me is there’s no concrete rumours for a CM.
That could mean something going on in the dark

It is an area we need quality in, but the Richarlison deal pretty much came out of nowhere so for all we know there might be one in the pipeline. What worries me is there’s no concrete rumours for a CM.
Please God let it be ZakariaThat could mean something going on in the dark
Any love for my boy Matt Miazga at Chelsea? He'll be a squad player at best there, but would be an instant upgrade over our aging and shell shocked backline.
Here's a quick twitter video of him leading the backline against France for the U.S. in June. He's was the vocal leader of the backline that held the soon to be world champions to a 1-1 draw in June.
He's confident, composed, and positive on the ball. Even captained a few matches on loan at Vitesse, where he helped them when their first ever trophy (Dutch Cup) and qualify for Europe over the past two seasons.
Update: He's being linked with a loan to Caen as of this morning. Too late Marcel.
No place on this forum for logic or sense, we need any player right now, apparently.I know it's hard for some of you to accept, but there are still 10 days left in the transfer window, and that's a long time in the world of football. Stuff will heat up in the last few days and there will be transfers that come out of the blue. Deadlines spur action. You see it all the time. And while you may think it's utterly imperative that we get all the new players in NOW, it's not. As long as they get them in eventually, that's all that matters. You can whinge all you want about being ready for Wolves, but the truth is that a player is not bought to satisfy a need for one game, or one month. They are bought to satisfy a need over the course of an entire season, or ideally for a number of seasons. So if it means waiting until deadline day to get the right player in, then so be it. This is the outlook that any good businessperson will have. Let's hope the transfer team we have in place is up to the task.
For the U23s I'd imagine....Mirror reporting a deal for Pedro Delgado is close. 21 years of age but never made a first team appearance.
I think the last two friendlies have added to the sense of unease. No place on this forum for logic or sense, we need any player right now, apparently.
he is in my book pal and don't see how someone that took the p**s last year should be liked in a squad!!
Sooner he gone the better

Perhaps that's possibly a part of the problem we have. You can be a liked individual and respected individual, but equally not a role model or overall influence. He isn't a 'bad egg'.
He's actually a very well liked member of the squad.
He does need to be binned off, like.
