I wouldn't see the point in selling Rooney, a better manager may come in and use him better, we need his experience of winning around the dressing room. The rest of the squad wouldn't know how to keep calm in seeing out big games. Just keep him as siggy's backup for the attacking mid role.

Mainly because he shouldn't be a starter for any team with top 6-7 aspirations and he's on 150k week.


And as for keeping him as back up number 10, why, he's shown nothing in that role. Wouldn't even keep the Icelandic fraud there either, need someone better and actually creative

I feel like he's Mirallas mark II. When he's bothered to put in 100% he can be good but that's rare.

Agreed if he was 25 it would be worth thinking about. Sigurdssons transfer fee worries me as he is 29 this year.

29 with a knee injury, and will he heal 100% before the world cup? If not he will play through it anyway further endangering the 45m investment.
