Reckon the fact that Man U are signing Alderweireld and we said we were walking away must have made Barca worry that they would be stuck with him.

Translation from their website

After Digne ... Yerry Mina! Everton and Barcelona have reached an agreement, pending only to finalize the last fringes of the operation, for the transfer of the Colombian defense for 32 million euros, after breaking the contacts that were maintained with Manchester United. Between the morning and the last, the transaction should be signed.

The basis of the agreement is practically closed between the clubs. Barcelona and Everton have made a quick negotiation and have set the terms of the transfer under very interesting economic conditions. The azulgranas will enter 32 million euros for the young central who did not enter the plans of Ernesto Valverde. His participation in the World Cup in Russia, where he had an outstanding performance with Colombia, has made it easier for Mina to have a market to leave Barça.

Barcelona and Everton are closing the last details of the transfer; while the footballer has also finalized his contract with the English team. Yerry will sign for five seasons.

Looks like he’s done. I look forward to joining all of you in eating the negative words we’ve had about him now that he’s a Blue.

Then it's Mosh who your ire should be directed to, he's been the boss since Feb 2016. We can't blame Kenwright any more as the buck stops with the majority owner.
Mate I don't agree with this notion that moshiri is to blame. He is essentially the owner but the staff under him are tasked with running the club. Brands is in charge of the footballing matters and the Russian is in charge of finances. Denise is a go between and public relations and Harris is on the stadium. It's only kenwright that has no real responsibility yet he is still involved in things that time has proven he is terrible at. Only thing he is good at is selling for a premium and brands has even took over that role.

It should be between the Russian and brands and noone else when it comes to transfers. Kenwright being involved is exactly what is and has been causing so many issues since moshiri got here

But when you are rebuilding something which was weak, you use stronger materials. You don't just slap the same old crap down and hope that the walls will still stand. Troy Deeney is not the answer to anything, other than who's the most overrated striker in the Prem perhaps.

For me he'd be a last 20 minutes player, not a starter. That's as good as it gets for us right now.

signs for 5 years .... and probably be sold in 1 for £10m cuz hell be turbo gash after all this effort over him knowing our luck lol
