Summer 2018 Transfer Window

What a window that is, well in Brands

I did not expect them to go out and bring in 6 players for the first XI

So many players I can't wait to watch in a blue shirt

Still time to sell Pickford and Lookman abroad to feed the agenda.
I think one will happen. Lookman will leave.

There's no agenda. I just KNOW Everton and the people who have crashed this club for decades and how much they view players in blue shirts as the traditional form of payment in transfer windows.

Surely no one needs reminding of that fact?

Well, it's impossible to get an assessment debate going of what we have on our hands with these players just now or one concerning what has gone out the door money-wise and players leaving in relation to what has been paid for those arriving.

I realise people are still giddy with the days events, so that's maybe understandable.

I'm intrigued myself about the signings.

We should be giddy. Last year was great, but the signings were exciting for the number, not the quality - and looked solid at the time. These ones look solid and exciting and having improved each area of the pitch, seems to be a far better window than previous ones. I would say the best summer we've had overall, if it ends with the departure of Bolasie, Cuco and one midfielder (-preferably Schneiderlin but probably Besic)

I'm more hopeful now than I was before we acquired these players.

I think we have to place some trust in this manager and hand him time to work on these players to gel them and find the right system/formation to get the best out of them. That could take until after Christmas.

I just hope all those elated now and criticising others for trying to assess what we've signed will be the same people who give this Silva managership time to develop and the players he's bought the time to show what they can do.
I agree completely with all of that we have to back him and not start criticising the minute we lose a few games . I have a good feeling about Silva but he needs our support

I would hold judgement on that, tbh. They could be a great fit and Silva gets a great tune out of them. They equally could mostly flop.

It's a weird situation. I genuinely apart from Richarlison have no idea what to expect from them.
