Summer 2018 Transfer Window

I get the feeling you guys just need a clearout summer with only two or three really smart buys. Just to stabilise and get the feeling of a new smarter project. Very similar to our 15/16 summer which was basically a whole sale for us.

It's definitely possible to get rid of the waste, as you can see by this list. You just need to accept losing money on some sales but the sheer volume of the sales should give some nice money to spend anyway.

Everton last summer was similar to Spurs after Bale left. A ton of money spent with not much in return. Now if we could only have a Harry Kane show up to rescue us

Good post. I hope we can do the same.

Spurs are the benchmark for a well run club these days.

Lewis Holtby... the one that got away.

Oh....

So we funded last season with Lukaku and now we have no prized assets left so we have to sell circa 12.

Sensible but not that fairytale Moshiris and Bill men in the media portrayed.

Think we can bin the idea of top signings then.

Yet again we’ve been painted a false picture.

Yep we spent 185 million last season and it was all down to the 75 million we got off the lukaku deal...ffs learn to count if your going to chat wham at least.

Next you'll be saying the season before was covered by the stones money, even though we spent double what we got for stones.

I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to see us sell players before.

Bye Morgan
Bye Wayne :(
Bye Davy
Bye Kevin
Bye Ashley
Bye Cuco
Bye Joel
Bye Yannick
Bye Oumar
Bye Luke
Bye Ramiro

Mad how you can sell all of them, buy 2/3 players and be better off lol.

Marcel and Marco mean business. Can you even imagine Steve Walsh bringing any of the above players into his office and telling them that they’re gone?

Excited to see what our squad looks like in 2 months.

Bit mean not saying goodbye to Sandro, Eliaquim, James, Muhamed, Brendan, Luke and Shani

78 million spent net in four transfer windows Moshiri is here.

That an average of 19 odd million per window net.

I remember how easily it seemed Spurs got rid of all the players they bought with the Bale money who flopped. Do you all think that was all down to Levy being a wizard, or maybe is it not really that hard to move players who need to be moved?
