Just because someone is an international player doesn't mean they are suddenly great it just shows a lack of options. I mean does that mean the San marino centre half is great because he is an international centre half? No.

Exactly because of people like Brands who we are being linked with and other DoF's from smaller footy nations (Dutch and Portugal being the main two).

Look at the Mexican lad they signed last year for example at PSV - the one @MoutsGoat is going all steve walsh on

signed at 20 for about 6m, linked less than a year later with us, Arsenal and a few others for 35m etc
