No offence intended but if you think the Captain of Ajax was getting paid £10k a week then you are either extremely naive or, well, stupid.

I think you may find Klaassen was captain of Ajax, and Sanchez didn’t captain them, but hey they’re just facts.
Also, the average salary in the Eredivisie is falling as a consequence of low revenues. The average salary is less than €10K.

Sorry mate, but the Eredivisie doesn’t pay salaries like that. Not a chance in the World he was on anything like €2M a year. And we’re talking about Davinson Sanchez, not Davey Klassen. A quick web search shows Ajax had a wage cap brought in in 2016 of €1M/season before taxation.

I've seen some articles saying that Gelson, Carvalho and Bruno Fernandes have issued to terminate their contracts today.. if it's true we should throw £60m between the three of them.

This is correct, Zlatan got paid more at United than the whole Ajax squad put together.

Now I am fairly sure that Walsh and Koeman recommended the signings last season to the board, but I doubt that either of them negotiated transfer fees or salaries. Spending big money should be a matter for the board to agree. So who negotiated fees and salaries? And who will do that this year?

Klaassen was on a decent wedge as I'm fairly sure he signed a new deal in 2015/16 when he became their captain. So maybe it wouldn't have counted in that salary cap but he would have been at least around the €30k mark (granted maybe a bit less than I said before).
