As the transfer of Mori showed, this time around, it`s all getting done under the radar.

Apparently we’ve bid for Vida from Besiktas. From what I can remember we tried to sign him last season when he’s basically already signed for Besiktas (Stevie Stevie Walsh) and he’s pretty decent.

We got 9 Million with Add-ons that can boost the overall deal to just shy of 11 million.

Not sure Vida is quite PL level, but he's got guts and can play LB. Would make it that much easier to shift Williams, Baines, and Jags out for much better LB and CB options.

Looks rubbish to me...all heart and no top level ability...

I dont think we will be after players linked in the press unless its obvious (e.g lozano / RLC) that they have immense potential.
