We dont need to shift all, we just need to shift the big 5-6.

Rooney
Bolasie
Schneiderlin
Sandro
Williams
Mirallas

That right there saves 600k per week, or 32.2 million. Every one is expendable, and by all impressions it looks like at least all but 1 is out the door. Clearing the other 5-6 players as dead weight would be great, but just those 6 would do wonders.

Anything financial to do with Everton, don't hesitate to ask me.

We spent loads of dollar on crap last season
We need to get some dollar back for the crap we paid dollar for
Once all the crap has gone for a bit of dollar, we'll top that dollar with a bit more dollar and buy players who aren't as crap as the first load of crap players we bought.

All in -

Player recruitment improved multiple squared of right angle to crap players purchased/sold divided between John, Tim and Susan = wage bill reduced
Are you one ah' dem Deloitte & Touche fellas like?

Difficulty is though it’s a delicate balance, it’s not making space on the wage bill, the wage bill at the moment is unsustainable on our current revenue, simply put we can’t afford it at the moment, so we are not just clearing space it needs to be reduced to make us sustainable.

We certainly won’t sign Lozano and De Ligt, they’re already being courted by clubs far better than us.

My guess would be that most of us will
never have heard of some of the players we bring in. And I am happy with that.

Great post mate.

I think people get on board if the can see a clear policy that is applied consistently and communicated. We have had none of those things over the last 2 and arguably over the last 20. As long as the message is consistently applied I think more people will get on board than we suspect.

If we don't communicate properly though, and allow others both within and outside of the club to set the agenda frustration will build.

Agree with everything you have said, if people can see that it is a strategy and know it's a long term aim, they will give it time as long as we aren't fighting relagation or playing boring footy. Clearing dead wood and finishing 7-8th while playing football that is actually watchable will be accepted this season. I firmly believe that even the dumbest of evertonians can see the mess left by bobby and koeman (and Walsh) and know that it's more than just a case of signing 4-5 players. Even finishing 10th while playing exciting but inconsistent kids will be accepted as it shows potential as the kids grow, it's looking to the future and not being able to see improvement that won't be tolerated I think

Agreed basically we need to lower it by 50-60 m to enable us to sign players silva and brands want, making our new wage bill 30m less than our current one. Numbers are examples obviously
