Didn’t see enough from him recovering the ball - If Barca want to sell him they must think he needs to develop more which can only mean they lump in a buy back clause in any potential sale.
Davinson Sanchez stood out more and looked the better of the two, but I’ve only watched 2 of their games. Which you’d expect given his fee and age.

It could just be like Lukaku, where we loan him and he does well and then decides he fancies a move to us full time as it's his best chance of kicking on
He has no pace at all when I've seen him.
He's a decent defender and only young - he'll improve.
But I'd be worried about him and Keane in a two. It'd be like Keane and Williams.

I`d take a loan players for a season, as this season is gonna be all about stabilisation and re building.
If loan players can help stabilise things, whilst the dead wood is punted and Silva sorts out the team then so be it.
Look at Lukaku, no one thought we had a chance of signing him or that he would sign for us.

..my concern with Loftus-Cheek is whether he’s dynamic enough to regularly pick a game up by the scruff of the neck and make things happen. He’s talented but there’s lots of talent out there. I don’t know if he’s the type to positively influence games on a week by week basis.
