..my concern with Loftus-Cheek is whether he’s dynamic enough to regularly pick a game up by the scruff of the neck and make things happen. He’s talented but there’s lots of talent out there. I don’t know if he’s the type to positively influence games on a week by week basis.

We need winners. Players who play like the game really matters.

..yep, there are lots of examples but that is my point. Without being cruel, i’ve also not been impressed with the player when he does tv interviews, although I appreciate that doesn’t always manifest itself on the pitch.

I don't really believe the story about Chelsea loaning out Loftus-Cheek again. I think they will keep and play him or sell him outright.
He will be twenty three next birthday, has about fifty appearances in the premiership under his belt and is a full international... when do they think he will be ready to play ?

Chelsea don't even know whos going to be the manager next season anyway so how will they know what they are going to do with RLC

I’m not sure it matters too much with them after all it seems fairly clear that despite being the manager conte didn’t buy Barkley . As a club they seem to operate differently to most so it’s entirely possible there is some truth in it whatever the managerial position , your first point still stands though obviously.

I get what your saying, and correct on Barkley, he was bought for financial reasons, buy cheap, English and still young so could go for a profit, same with RLC if they get a good offer I think they'd sell him in a heartbeat

The sale of Funes Mori came out of the blue, I’m sure Brands is working on deals. We’ve all said for ages that we want the squad to be trimmed of deadwood, for us to recruit more sensibly from lesser known markets (eg not pay top dollar for lower prem British players), and to not be so public that we get fleeced I’m bidding wars or other clubs swoop in and take our targets (like Spurs did with Moyes for years). We may well be doing all of these things yet some people are still moaning, just wait and see why shape we are in come season kick off.
