Football - Manchester United v Manchester City - Barclays Under 21 Premier League - Old Trafford - 12/5/15 James Wilson celebrates scoring Manchester United's first goal
Strikers, strikers, strikers.

Everton's need for a new frontman this summer is pretty obvious – sorry, Arouna. And the rumour mill, never knowingly slow on the uptake, seems to have caught on to the fact.

Hence, we get the Blues linked with a pair of frontmen today, with more surely to follow.

First up, Dame N'Doye of Hull City.

Looked decent, this fella, towards the back end of last season. Scored five times in a dreadful, relegated team.

And according to rumours, he's been offered to a host of clubs, including Everton.

The Blues were linked with N'Doye back in 2012, when he played for FC Copenhagen. Three years on, could they be about to get their man?

Or, perhaps, will they look to sign a younger forward, such as Manchester United's James Wilson?

The 19-year-old has made a handful of first-team appearances at Old Trafford, but reports suggest he could be about to be shipped out, with a meeting with his representatives to take place within the next fortnight.

Everton, it is said, could well be an option for the youngster. Especially given their past record of taking on United's unwanted and making them useful.

And seeing as though we're talking strikers, we'll finish with some news of former Blues 'favourite' Samuel Eto'o, who is on the verge of joining Antalyaspor in Turkey.

The Cameroon legend may have only moved clubs in January, joining Sampdoria from Everton. But he loves a transfer, does Sam, and he's upping sticks again.

A statement from Antalyaspor read: "We have an agreement with Eto'o but there are still some problems relating to the player's image rights in Italy, but we will resolve them as soon as possible."

Never easy, dealing with Eto'o. Just ask Everton.

So people dont have to click the Echo link.

Trust me Browns, the dollar is there for the right players.

then why the bloody hell can we not get in another striker instead of having a crap season when lukaky inevitably gets injured for the season! i would include keeper in this but martinez obviously sees something in howard that many don't as opposed to being short in numbers.
