Summer transfer speculative hopes and dreams

I can actually understand the West Ham one from a 'footballing mercenary' perspective, and if Ogbonna does go there then it shows his mentality for what it is and it's a bullet dodged as far as I'm concerned.

Shaqiri has me utterly baffled though. Can't understand that one at all.
Why is he a mercenary if he goes to West Ham but not to us? Sincere question.

I agree but I think Dann is probably a safer option to Van Dijk. That said Van Dijk's pace would be useful.
Two years ago under Moist I would have said we would hope to but Dann and Lennon and be safe and sound in seventh place. For all the flaws last season I get the feeling under Martinez that anything is possible and that he likes to take risks. I am not sure he is happy with 'safe' the way Moist was.

I don't know. Martinez has shown just as much aversion to risk as Moyes. It just manifests in a different way. Don't tell me all the needless possession isn't as much a defensive tactic as it is an offensive one.

Mods : It's the Daily Mail.

They broke the Deulofeu story and the Shaqiri story. It seems like they're the most credible source.

None of these stories tell you the source.

It's basically random or if you don't like the story then off it goes.
