Yep...it's mentioned in the Geri thread. BTW mate, what took me by surprise was some GOT members endorsing the giant Martinez mural at GP...bizarro in my opinion but I guess everyone has a different cringe meter.

And re the Lennon and Kaboul swap for McCarthy, I'm choosing to put it in the 'possible, but unlikely' category.

Maybe a rumour rating is the key we all search for??? If you rate the rumour lower than a 7 (out of 10) likely to happen then put it in here. Still subjective but...

Excellent idea Pippi. The McCarthy swap deal to Spurs is probably borderline the two threads (6.8-7.2 out of 10). I am now in a helluva dilemma as to where to put it...damn you and your terrible ideas Pippi!!!!!

I know what you mean about that bloody mural and I thought the same thing when I saw it but didn't want to tempt fate by saying it.

Bobby spent a lot of money on Mccarthy and knows his worth.

There is NO WAY he would consider that crap swap deal that is being bounced around. he has already sent Aaron back home 'cause he was not good enough to justify the price why would he then be swayed by crapboul as an incentive for a player that is now worth 25mil?

I agree that the swap deal for McCarthy is a bit suspect (about 7/10 on a new grading scale instituted by @Pippi Longstocking ).
However, the site breaking the story is a very recognised one (I believe it won a big award last year). I do not think they would allow unsubstantiated jarg to be printed. So the swap deal might just have some legs. I am not familiar with Kaboul. Is he any good and do you think swapping McCarthy for him is a good deal?
