Not sure if ToffeeTV's run by THT and LCAB who are both good Blues, but they're essentially saying "We know something but won't tell you"

The cynic in me says they know zero but will say "told you so" if something, anything, actually happens.

Ha, that crossed my mind too. It's just THT and another fella I think, don't think LCAB is involved but I'm not certain.

I do think they get little bits of info like, but if they're not allowed to tell us then why mention it in the first place? It does seem like a bit of a 'look we get info we're great' sort of thing.

What's the point in saying anything at all then? Looking for attention living off past glories me thinks. Im a cynical sod though.

Garbutt is with the U21 team so I doubt it's about him, although it still seems most likely that he was talking about that.

My thought was a new contract signed for either Garbutt or McCarthy. We'll see.

No. They wouldnt replace his goal return.

Throw in a new number 10 coming in aswell and then we have improved

Deulofeu is a fairly like-for-like swap for Mirallas as far as role is concerned. But unless Deulofeu improves, it is a step down as far as talent goes. Granted, Deulofeu should be able to stay healthy.

If we sign Henen, he won't see much time in the first team.

We will still need some width. So either we sign a creative LM or we spend another season with Barkley, Naismith, and Osman getting minutes out of position.

True, but I'm talking in turns of wingers. 1 out, 2 in. It seems an improvement but as you say Del & Lennon won't replace his goals. Then again we won't sign another winger on top of them 2 so it's a tricky one.

Deulofeu doesn't strike me as a particularly good finisher as good a talent as he is. Not as good as Mirallas and certainly Lennon isn't either.

Losing Mirallas I would be concerned at losing goals from the team. Wingers who can contribute double figure goal returns are not easy to find/replace.
