Pablo Piatti update: Valencia have now signed Andrija Zivkovic and Zakaria Bakkali is incoming. Bobby, you've shown interest in him in the past, please do it again. His fee wouldn't be too demanding (definitely less than Levy would want for Lennon anyway) and he's a good player...
I have to say if available to us I would take the slightly greater risk of Bartra. With a CB pairing that both can bring the ball out teams would find us very hard to play against. But Dann is also good.Isn't Marc Batra's buyout clause like 12m euros till the end of the month? Surely that's a cheaper alternative to Dann? He's not proven in the prem but he's younger, possibly won't demand being in the first XI as much, and is right up Bobby's street.
Astori or Ogbonna would do. Both are left footed CB. Astori will cost a lot cheaper, probably €5-7m.
Pablo Piatti would be expensive don't even kid yourself.
The closing ceremony at the last one was boss..Any good prospects seen at the Women's World Cup?
Barta played 20apps for Barca no way they're going to let a first teamer goer this window because they can't sign any replacements.Astori/ Ogbonna/ Dann all linked for centre back, would hope for Bartra myself.
Also Munir at Barca supposedly available for transfer on some dodgy site.
Sign Deulofeu / Bartra.
Loan Munir / Roberto
4 Barca players who should integrate well together. Then go for a playmaker.
Pablo Piatti would be expensive don't even kid yourself.
Be great if we showed a little bit of ambition and went after Kevin Volland. Would take us up a level.
It would be, but he's just signed a new contract and Hoffenheim won't sell - especially with Firmino having gone for big money.
yes, I know, jarg site and all. but James Wilson on loan could be a very good thing.
Would be good back up for Rom, he's fast and can shoot straight. Really good finisher.
Loan to buy? come on Bobby. Make it so!

Everton boss Roberto Martinez is still looking to take Man Utd starlet James Wilson on a season-long loan, according to SiaS sources.
The Toffees registered an early interest in the 19-year-old striker back in January to sound out United boss Louis van Gaal.
Goodison Park chief Roberto Martinez has had his eye on a number of Old Trafford fringe players, although Wilson is the one he thinks he stands the best chance of landing.
Wilson scored twice for United last season and is also wanted by West Bromwich Albion, having been recommended to them by former United midfielder Darren Fletcher.
United will overhaul their striker department this summer following the end of Radamel Falcao's loan spell and the continued uncertainty surrounding the future of Robin van Persie.
It is understood United will sit down with Wilson in the next fortnight to discuss all the options, but Everton are willing to guarantee the teenager the regular first-team football he needs at this stage of his career.
