Roberto Martinez says move for Everton target "not necessary"
Belgium boss says Blues target can improve

Last month Anderlecht midfielder Youri Tielemans refused to rule out a summer move to
Everton .
But the in-demand 19-year-old's international manager, former Blues boss Roberto Martinez, believes that the teenager would be better served improving his game at Anderlecht.
Tielemans has enjoyed an impressive season in Belgium's Jupiler Pro League, and is set for even more profile next month when Manchester United face Anderlecht in the Europa League.

A number of English clubs, Everton amongst them, have been monitoring his progress.
But Martinez said this week: "It is important that he continues to challenge himself and I mean it is not that a transfer is absolutely necessary.

"I see him constantly progressing, but sometimes his game may be a little too 'simple'.
"In addition, his winning mentality can be even better. He needs to really want to win more games."
But Martinez also conceded: "Youri is an exceptional player, we all know his qualities. What I especially like is his personality. It's incredible to see a player in nineteen years with such experience."
Belgium host Greece in a World Cup qualifier on Saturday night then travel to Russia for a friendly on Tuesday.
Last month Marc Degryse, himself a former Belgium international, reckoned a move to a club like Everton could be perfect for Tielemans, who is tied to Anderlecht until the summer of 2020.

And when the idea was put to the player on Belgian radio show
La Tribune , he didn't appear to be against the idea.
“It’s what’s best to progress step by step," Tielemans said.
"What Marc says, it’s good to not burn steps and to avoid ending up on the bench and not getting game time.
"It’s what’s best for every footballer, I think."
