Didn't Darren fletcher have something similar, like a virus type thing that made his body weaker. Reckon he might of came close to calling it a day ?

Aye Fletcher did - been a few players who've had similar, can't remember one of them ever being the same afterwards - think the young lad City had Guidetti - had something similar as well and not looked anything close to the level he did beforehand

Fletcher had a serious viral infection yes.

Dortmund haven't revealed that Gotze has anything more than a 'metabolic condition' atm.

It's all irrelevant mind - we won't be signing him.

I would love us to go straight in for Keane and VVD the moment the window opens.
If we have any real chance of challenging next season and convincing the likes of Lukaku to stay, we do that by strengthening with players who will make an immediate difference to the 1st team. Get them in and get them ready with a full pre season.

I hope Everton get deals done early.

Darren Fletcher had Ulcerative Colitis, a bowel condition. I have it, when it flares you are basically living on the bog. Fletcher had it badly and eventually had the affected part of the bowel removed. Probably had a bag for a bit then then a 'reversal' operation which will have 'cured' him.
 
A lot of talk of VVD and would to see it. However Gibson from Boro if they go down may be a realistic option. I was impressed when we played their and they have a fantastic defensive record for a struggling side.

The virus statements regarding Fletcher were actually a cover for the far more serious (and lifelong) condition of ulcerative colitis. This is an auto-immune disorder that causes your own immune system to break down the tissue of the colon leading to bleeding, ulcers and potentially perforations. He's doing very well to manage that and be a professional footballer.

Think Tielemans has almost 1 in 2 this season from deep...could play AM...in fact hes good in any central position. I think those 2 along with davies, schneiderlin and Gana would be immense

I'm sure you're right mate but we don't have a don't have a limitless pot of money and other area's such as central defence, left back and a guy who can unlock defences and chip in with boss set pieces are a bigger priority. As I say, I can see us going for one of them but only if RK decides to sell McCarthy.

I'd be very happy with combined of players we seem interested in and suggestions which are realistic. Haha, no chance though. Wouldn't mind begovic as well and ship off one of our current two keepers, but our squad would probably be too big, even if we did offload cleverley, niasse, kone, mcgeady and possibly lennon and also McCarthy at a push.

Keep forgetting tarashaj is on our books.
