Aye well for me he still has stuff to offer the team, and with Europe will be good for squad depth to rotate in and out of the starting 11. We need to be buying a better player in his position though IMO.

..I don't disagree, Matey. He has an eye for a goal and is useful to have around but it all depends on whether Koeman sees a future for him. I suppose the fact that he's not yet been offered a renewal is an indication that RK is not totally convinced.

The backline needs completely gutting.

Apart from Coleman I wouldn't retain anyone else...and I include the GK in this in terms of finding a new #1.

If any one of Williams, Baines, Jagielka, Mori are automatic starters next season I'd consider it a failure to progress.

But if that lad from Hull is a starter then it;s the wrong way of going about it.

so why did he go back to belgium for the birth of his second? Was it because they wanted the kid to be born belgian? Or was the kid born in britain so they were just flying back to belgium to introduce him/her to the family. It's something i've never actually thought about with footballers playing in a foreign league.

We should have signed Joe Hart, i'm still confused why we didn't. I know there have been shouts for Pickford but i think a first team goalie - unless exceptional like David DG should be a bit older.

I was all for Joe Hart originally but it seems he cant go many games without making a BIG mistake. I think we can do better Hart, in fact we may already have someone who is better

I've only seen highlights of Hart this season and they always seem to be of him doing his best Tim Howard impression. I think he'll will end up with that lot across the park.
I like Joel, he's a solid keeper, a great lad and has earned the right to be number one this season but if we have genuine ambition we need a better quality keeper - no idea who we'd go for though.

You shouldn't be concerned too much about goalkeepers, Koeman will unearth one of many Young talented keepers in the Eredivisie or Primera

Honestly don't think Joel has been worse than Hart this year. He's had some massive howlers this year like he always does every year.

Steady steps in the market is what I expect to see. All these Mbappe, James Rodrigue etc. shouts are people thinking money = transfer success. More to it than that, until EL is secured we're just not that attractive.
