According to Transfermarkt:
Tielemans played 31 matches as a central midfielder this season. Just 9 as an attacking midfielder.
Sigurdsson played 13 matches as a left winger. 12 as an attracking midfielder.
Rooney played 12 matches as a "secondary striker", 6 as AM, 5 as CF.
Oh and instead of Demarai Gray I thought about Andre Gray, we were linked with him a few days ago. Has 8 goals this season for one of the worst attacking teams in the league.

Tbf, looking at that we will need a new back four cos Coleman will be out for sometime now after his broken leg! So we're definitely gonna need a new RB. Could the likes of Kenny or Connolly step up? I'm not sure. And Holgate isn't a long term answer at RB either imo. So we're gonna need a RB. Baines for me is good to go for another season IF we strengthen at CB. With a solid backline, Baines will be ok so we won't need to fork out just yet for a LB.
I think Williams will be alright for another season, even as a starting CB as long as he's got a younger, more fresher partner by the side of him that as pace to cover in behind him. Personally I think we need 2 CB's & a RB in the summer.
We definitely need a top level GK. Joel as done well in general this season but like today, and against Liverpool at Goodison and at Spurs recently, he has those games in him too often and we need a more consistent performer between the sticks. All the top sides have a top keeper that wins them points on his own.
In CM were quite strong even though to me we have a much of a muchness in there with the players we have. Their all quite similar in a sense although Schneiderlin as that ball playing quality. Both Gueye & Davies are industrious and get about the pitch, as does McCarthy and then there's Besic to come back also. But for me we need to add a more creative, attack minded CM in there that will break from deep, get in the box and add a goal threat, create much more for us and be a link between midfield and the attack. Sigurdsson would be the perfect fit imo. He does all that plus is a massive threat from set pieces, something that we're very weak at and he would bring that threat to the team.
I must say that I'm not keen on the idea of Barkley being seen as a right sided forward. I do think Koeman as pushed Ross out into that position to accommodate putting Davies in the centre of the park but also cos I don't think he trusts Barkley in a more deeper role. I do have a feeling that Barkley will be sold this summer....
So we will need some genuine quality for out wide on both flanks. Mirallas is too hit and miss, Lookman looks a talent and maybe he will kick on in pre season and stake a claim ahead of next season? Deulofeu looks to be on his way and Lennon just isn't good enough. We definitely better quality out wide.
And wether we keep Lukaku or not, we need another CF! Will it be Rooney? Possibly?! But we definitely need another CF that will push Lukaku and keep him on his toes and even partner him some times, IF he stays. If not then we need a couple.
So that's up to 7-8 players I personally think we need, most of them of real good quality, we need to bring in mainly for the first team! That's not even considering squad players to give us better options all round. Will we do so much business, I'm not sure, but who knows? But either way, it could, should be a very busy summer for us!

Agree with a lot of that, although I think we'll be alright at LB for one more season. We have Garbutt in reserve and don't forget Galloway will be back. We will definitely need a RB now Coleman is out and Veltman is a good shout. We need 2 CB's but I'd be happy with a really good one like de Vrij who walks right into the team and maybe an up and coming one to take over from Jags. Maguire maybe?
Do agree that we need another CM but not box to box, both Davies & Gueye can play that role, so can Schneiderlin tbf. Think we need a more attack minded, creative CM with goals in him. Tielemans is a good shout. Koeman by all accounts as personally scouted Klaasen of Ajax and he's another that's decent but Sigurdsson would be my preferred choice! I said in a previous post that we need better quality in both wide positions and obviously another striker, but IF Lukaku goes we could need 2?!!....

I think that too, yes he's young and will make mistakes but he could be our star keeper for years and years. The only issue is is that he plays for a poor team, it's a lot easier for a keeper when you're always in the game like he is there, it'll be a totally different kettle of fish with us.
I share the same view with defenders like Keane, McGuire and Gibson. I'd much prefer a player coming down to us. For that reason I'd also like begovic and sell stek, but we already have enough business to do as it is

I've watched a lot of there games this season and his distribution and shot stopping are improving game by game.
If we can get him for 20-25 mil he will be our new nev for years to come.

We have the players to finish 7th. But anyone who thinks the likes of jags, williams, barry, baines are the defensive players to go for top 6 next season are nuts. 1 of them playing wouldnt do. But any combination of a number of them against a top 6 side will be on the losing side. 100%
