it would leave a bit of a bitter taste in the mouth should we lose lukaku and barkley tbf. Two of our best players leaving is always sad, despite how many we buy, i'd ideally like to keep both. But keeping just one would be good too.

Lukaku will definitely be off and unless he has a massive change of heart and signs a new contract then so will Ross.

Like I said, it's a decent start but we still haven't got anyone signed to replace a couple of our better players who look nailed on to be leaving. We need to keep pushing on.

Is anyone really expecting more then five players im not. i dont include kids or Martina btw.

If/when Barkley, Del, Lukaku and possibly McCarthy go we'll realistically need another 5 or 6 in addition to the 2 we've already landed. European games to contend with next season.

Im not so sure Rom will leave, whats the incentive to sell?

We dont appear to need the money, Barkley is an alternative sale. he has two years left on his contract.

He might throw a strop, but he is not going to down tools in a WC year, its to his disadvange if he gash next year.

I fail to see why we need to roll over and have our bellies scratched by Chelsea.

I think you may be in for a shock then.

We still have quite a few to be going out.

Keane, a left back, Sandro and Niang already nailed on I would say, added to the 2 from yesterday takes it over 5.

Your talking like those are certainties mate, they are far from. "mystery left back, nailed on"?!?

Websites, twitter and paper links.

Lets not be getting giddy.

Niang looks to me like a Sandro replacement. A poor replacement and no better than Mirallas.
Sandro probably fears Lukaku won't leave and he will be benched.

It has to be about quality. With Niang, why not loan him for a season with option to buy?

I like giddy :)

The mood has been set IMO.

We know we have Rom, Valencia, Kone, Barkley (most likely), and probably one of Mori or Jags and also either McCArthy or Besic disappearing.

We have more games to play than last season due to EL, I think even the most pessimistic would be erring on the side of caution not to expect a big influx of new faces.

I get what you're saying but based on comments from him we had an agreement to let him move on if he gave us another season. It wouldn't go down well with other players if that's the case and we go back on it.

If he really wants out then sell him for top value and get replacements in.
