On today's Evidence I would be tempted to take top dollar for Lukaku, if anyone offers it, and use the proceeds to recruit a TEAM of winners and strong characters.

What's the point in selling them? The money we'd get would in no way help us, lot of overeating teds in here, we still need a bit squad and these players offer their experience throughout the season. I bet all of you were saying drop mori and give someone like pennington and holgate a go. We saw today how it's not as simple as just bringing in kids. Football Manager has ruined people's expectations of what a football club can do in a transfer window.

I think playing a centre back at right back is ok...but playing them at right wing back??? Rather than Holgate there, why not Williams or jags lol

Also, pennington doesn't seem up to it since he came through...nothing wow about him.

As for selling them, it creates space for additional wages...

Baines would be good back up. But not a starter for me next season. Jags was finished last season. Barry came on yesterday and couldnt run. Actually waddled as people flew past him and they had played a full match. Think we gave him an extension recently. My god. In not impressed by williams either but might do as back up
 

The dust has settled and we got beat by a team missing 2 key players while we missed 2 first team players BUT we also have youngsters in positions we need to improve.

Pennington > NEW CENTRE BACK
Holgate > Coleman
Davies > CREATIVE MIDFIELDER
Calvan Lewis > Bolasie

We have been lucky and also fortunate our fixtures have covered the cracks of our first team and squad has.

Koeman has a MASSIVE task to become a Top 4 side. We aren't as far as some of our fans but we need to buy BIG, no longer youth or bargains we need experience, strength and hopefully WINNERS.

It is a big rebuild. We have issues all over the pitch.

Keeper - I would get rid of Stek and bring in Pickford to compete with Robles

Centre backs - goodbye Jags. Ideally we need 2. Keane and a physical beast to play with him. We are not going to get VVD so this is where Walsh has to earn his money.

Full-back - aim for a decent loan signing at right back. Time to invest in a new young left back to share the work load with Baines. Perhaps Jordan Amavi from Villa.

Midfield - goodbye Mo, j Mc, Cleverly. Liam Walsh gets a promotion. Ross & Gueye will both stay. Would love to see us bring in a CAM to compete with Ross.

Attack - unfortunately Rom will go. Obviously needs to be on our terms so we are not held to ransom. I would take a punt on Dembele and the lad from Man City Iheanacho. Goodbye Konehead and Valencia.
 
Still think if Rom goes to Chelsea for 50 mil plus Michy B we could have ourselves a really good deal. £50 mil would buy us Maguire, Pickford and Siggy.
A new core of the team, would still need others coming in but that wouldn't be a bad start Imo

Rooney - 25m
Keane - 30m
Sigurdsson -25m
Kaasson - 25m
Van Dijk - 40m

at least 145m and to be honest the way that football is at the moment with prices of players they are probably the lower estimates as well, I cant see us spending anywhere near that unless we sell 80m + of players which will probably leave holes that would need filling
