Aye but they were solid and leaked very little. Keane is susceptible to being exposed

Not that it makes any odds now because he is a blue and hopefully will get better every year now
I must admit I haven't seen much of either but from what I could make out Burnley were quite attack minded while Boro were ultra defensive.

Isn't it normal for a defender to be stretched at times in an attacking team no matter how good they are?

And on the other side of the coin isn't it possible for a limited defender to look really good in a well organised defensive set up?

Not saying Gibson's poor or that Keane is boss. Just that in the same way people often talk about strikers and teams setting up to maximise their attributes it also happens with defenders.

I repeat, haven't seen much of either. Just putting it out there.

I love being a fly on the wall in other teams forums when they talk about us

It's been funny mate, there's so many ridiculous comments it's great to read, you get the sensible ones who say it as it is but they're outweighed by the jealous ones. It's as if they have to put down what's happening to relieve their frustration. "signing average players" "The Lukaku money" "wouldn't get in our team" shouts seem popular. That coming from mediocre teams like West Ham and Southampton just highlights their level of delusion.

I'd have had Gibson over Keane in all honesty. Gibson was part of a solid defence when organised that peaked very few goals back when Boro were simply not scoring enough. Keane was exposed when the defence was stretched

Have we been linked anywhere mate? I'd be delighted with him

He's left-footed too I want him and Keane together. Future England partnership.
