That's a fair point, think it would more be Arsenal who would be chasing him, can't see City bringing him in if Hart can't play from the back.
Problem is he still has so much improvement to make before he makes a difference to us, for us to get in the top 4 we need a goalie now otherwise we might as well stick with Joel who will improve too.
I agree on taking gambles, but it has to be in the right positions, gambling on a 19 year old striker who still gets 15-18 goals knowing he will be a 25+ in a couple of years is different to signing a keeper who looks a good shot stopper in a team that is constantly under pressure, but there is no way of knowing how good his all round game is and how much he will improve, as he doesn't get the chance to display it.
Personally I'm not convinced on Pickford, he may well go on to be a good keeper but not a great one, only time will tell and I've been wrong many times before but I wouldn't want us to gamble on him when better options are available, I reckon Tom Heaton is a better shot stopper than him anyway

Pickford is tailor made for Guardiola mate, he's absolutely brilliant with his distribution.

Agree with a lot of what your saying though. Hard to judge how a keeper from a terrible side will get on at a good one as requires them to have attributes they won't have had the need to show, namely staying focused and concentrated in a game their not having much to do.

I'll bow to your knowledge there, only distribution I've seen from him really is kicking the ball to the half way spot.........after picking it up from the back of the net

Pickford was poor for at least two of Utds goals. Should've saved them but made over-elaborate, highlight reel dives. Not saying he's a bad keeper but he's certainly being made to look better than he probably is by how busy he is.

I'd rather Schmeichal, of the two of them. Bit of a dearth of good keepers available at the moment tbh

TBF we now have USM Finch Farm, so Usmanov is involved in some capacity

WRD is truly sauced so cant complain if hes not right 100% of the time
"Truly sauced" my ar$e. Only a couple of weeks ago he came out with the bollards that Everton wouldn't be making any statement r.e the ground development, just LCC.

Got that one badly wrong as well didn't he? He's got plenty wrong and is just as jarg as the rest of the ITK wannabes.

Keep making stabs and you'll hit a few eventually!

I'm sure I read somewhere that part of the loan agreement was that if Hull stay up they have to pay £10m for Niasse, similar to Watford having to pay for Cleverley after X amount of games. Is that right? If so I'm praying they can make it, there's no other way we would get that money back.
Disagree totally with that. 10 million is absolutely peanuts these days and lower league players who've never got a sniff of the top flight have cost more than that.

Whether Hull stay up or not, someone will almost certainly pay 10 million for Niasse.

His move to Hull put him in the shop window and the lad has impressed in a poor side.

He's proven he can score goals at this level and that won't have gone unnoticed.

A mid-lower league club or even a newly promoted team (Brighton?) would pay 10 million for him no problem.

You do know WRD works for the club, so any information he gets his more than likely to happen. He'll get stuff that obviously won't be finalised, but he's definitely not an attention seeking harsh ITK

His distribution is fabulous...if you don't think so then, no offence but how can you say he needs to make 'so much improvement'?

He's a top keeper.
